Sea Green, completed in 2006, is about the pulse of the ocean, and the creatures within it. While creating the piece, I did not realize the symbolism it held for me. The life in the sea, crossing between animal and plant, symbiotic to the many life forms it shares its’ watery world with, was a metaphor for our journey here. Reaching into the waters of our unconscious and allowing those shadows and pains to release into the light of day, frees us to create an authentic life, bathed in the the essence of who we are.
