A Cloud in the Sky was completed in 2007, as part of a nine piece series, including Red, White and Blue, Grass is Always Greener, Ghostwriting, Circles in the Sky, Blue Ribbons, Blue Glow, Orange Fence and Scattered Shapes. The energy of my travels across the U.S. are chronicled in this series. I was also sinking deeper into bringing forth my disappoints and despair of the past and letting that wash out as I explored new love with my partner.

The orange rectangular shapes are almost a reflection of my figure running across the darkness in my past and being lifted by my hopes of the present. Red streams show the energy of the blood, sweat and tears that are my fuel. My heart pulses with love and anticipation, expressed in the yellow mark leading the way.
