Orange Fence was completed in 2007, as part of a nine piece series, including Red, White and Blue, Grass is Always Greener, Ghostwriting, Circles in the Sky, Blue Ribbons, Blue Glow, A Cloud in the Sky and Scattered Shapes.

I move through the path to stumble, exhausted, into the light. This grief work is hard, but memories settle, pain softens, and suddenly there is an opening in the fence. The other side beckons with brightness.
